What is the Purpose of the TEAM Program?
The purpose is to give any service professional who is passionate, purposeful and intentional about doing great work for their clients and wants the ability to create greater value for themselves, by building and sustaining a strong book of business and driving revenue to their firm.
How can I be successful in the program?
Success is about doing the little things right. You will be provided with an Integrated Practice Management System© (IPMS) to help you clearly identify and understand how you will achieve your goals. Execution is critical and you will learn the keys to making it happen through our Learning Center. Your success will happen because you will be thinking and working “on” your business and not just “in” your business consistently and you will be working with the members of your TEAM to help each other accomplish your respective goals.
What is the Learning Center?
Knowledge is king! We are committed to your success. We know that you operate in a highly competitive environment in a challenging economy and it is important that your membership help you create competitive advantage for you. As a new member, we will schedule an orientation where you will invest a morning and learn all aspects of the IPMS to help you get the most from your ProGrowth membership and experience. The Learning Center provides you with a series of short web based videos to supplement your orientation to make sure any questions are properly answered so that you can operate fully as a "CEO" of your practice using your IPMS and to have a clear understanding how your TEAM will contribute to your success. We highly recommend that you invest the time to thoroughly understand what you have available as it will help you be very efficient and effective while getting you the results you want.
How would I get started?
Once you become a member and after you are set up in the system your first step is to identify your goals and develop an action plan to achieve them. During your orientation, we walk you through the steps using the “Action Plan Wizard” which is part of the Integrated Practice Management System©. Clarity is critical to your success. The biggest impediment that holds many service professionals back is others not understanding what you really do and who you do it for and therefore are not sending you referrals!
What will my Action Plan do for me?
Every great business starts with a well crafted plan. It clearly states your income and revenue goals and walks you through the action steps you will take to achieve them.The related tools in the Integrated Practice Management System© will help you understand how you will capture the clients you need to achieve your income goals and create your presence in the market place.
Are these tools and processes always available to help me?
Yes. As an active member, you will have access to your online Integrated Practice Management System© to help you be efficient and effective with your time. All of the critical tools to build and manage your business are in one location and available to you 24/7 no matter where you are in the world.
What does being on a TEAM do for me?
You are never out there by yourself trying to achieve your goals. Your TEAM is composed of 15 “CEOs” just like you and they are committed to your success. Each member uses a common platform in the Integrated Practice Management System© and has goals and an action plan they want to execute. Each member’s TEAM profile is clear on what the member wants to accomplish and is learned by all TEAM members. As you get to know each other you learn about different ways you can help each other create breakthroughs to achieve your goals.
The TEAM does this in three ways: 1. Serves as your Advisory Board – You will have the privilege of being able to get invaluable non-judgmental feedback on issues and ideas that might help you achieve your goals.
2. Serves as a Beacon in the marketplace for you – A key for all of us to capture the clients we want is to develop relationships with the right people who will be able to refer business to us. Your TEAM members will constantly be on the lookout to identify those people for you. 3. Serve as your Coach – One of the invaluable benefits of your TEAM members is to keep you accountable to yourself and to the TEAM. The TEAM gives you the little push we all need to excel by inspiring and motivating you to succeed. Is a TEAM a networking group?
No. Your TEAM’s mission is to understand each other’s business goals and to help one another succeed by working together to help solve business issues and keep each other accountable to your respective goals.
While networking groups provide potential relationships, they are typically reactive not proactive and are not structured to provide a sustainable platform to help service providers understand and navigate the challenges of creating and sustaining a successful practice. How is the TEAM composed?
15 service professionals of various non-conflicting disciplines (lawyers, accountants, consultants, etc…) typically targeting a general market segment (size). The discipline is not as important as is the individual. You want passionate purposeful people on your TEAM!
Does being part of the ProGrowth TEAM community help me?
Yes. Our growing community of professionals will help you in many ways to achieve your goals. Once you are a member, your TEAM Profile is part of your business profile in our Community Directory. All members will get a very good understanding of what you want to accomplish. If a member from another TEAM wants to pursue a business relationship we have as part of the Integrated Practice Management System© a way for the person to connect with you and for you to review their profile so that when they contact you, you have already viewed their business information and have determined that a potential relationship may be mutually beneficial. It gets the relationship off the ground immediately!
As the community grows more of your very special referral sources will come right from the community since these are the professionals who are passionate and purposeful. Who is eligible?
You must be a professional who acts with purpose and intention. You must be responsible for not only doing the work, but for bringing in the work as well. You must depend on relationships and referrals to achieve your client objectives. You must want to create and develop a predictable book of business to give yourself choices and to create more value for yourself in the marketplace knowing that it does not come easy but the effort will be worth it.
How is a TEAM governed?
Each TEAM is self directed. There is a TEAM Leader (also a member) and four members who comprise the executive committee. They have the responsibility to approve members for their TEAM. They also have the authority, by virtue of the membership agreement, to ask any member to withdraw if the member is not meeting his/her commitment to the TEAM. That way, all TEAM members know the TEAM will be purposeful and will not waste their time.
How do I join an existing TEAM?
You must make application. If you are applying to join a specific TEAM, the Executive Committee of the TEAM will review your application and advise if you are approved.
If you do not have an existing TEAM targeted and want to join the community and then find a TEAM to participate on, you may join the “Bull Pen” TEAM in an existing region. TEAMs will be able to view your goals and discipline to see if you may be a good fit. If a TEAM is interested in you, you will be contacted and interviewed by the executive committee of the TEAM. The process allows you to make sure you and the TEAM are comfortable with your coming on board. Can I start a new TEAM in my area?
Yes. You must make application to ProGrowth TEAM. If your application is approved, a Regional Managing Director will work with you to develop an Executive Committee and then to develop the new TEAM. We will also help you by building the community in your local region which will give you access to other professionals who are as committed as you.
How often does my TEAM meet?
Your TEAM meets once per month for 90 minutes and is usually hosted by one of the members. Guesting by non-members is not allowed since it takes away from the business of the members.
What is the agenda of a TEAM meeting?
The agenda consists of each member updating the TEAM on their progress towards achieving their goals. The more members hear you talk about your business the more they will understand how to help you. Any member can seek advice and input from the TEAM on critical business issues. The TEAM Leader will review the activity of the TEAM as well as identifying members who might need extra help.
How can I assure my success on a TEAM?
Be a good CEO of your business. Be clear on how your TEAM members can help you. Work your plan consistently and use the tools you have access to in the Integrated Practice Management System©. They will help you be efficient and effective with your time. Attend your TEAM meetings regularly. Get to know your fellow members and their plans. Come to the meeting prepared and find ways to help fellow members create a breakthrough.
What is the cost of membership?
The annual membership fee is $850 and is non-refundable except immediately after orientation. Please see our guarantee on our home page for details. Each member is encouraged to invite other professionals who they respect and who may also benefit by joining our growing community. A referring member will be credited $100 towards their renewal fee for each member who is referred and who joins the community. If a member refers six or more new members to the community during any calendar year, the annual membership renewal fee for the renewing year is waived entirely.
How do I get started?
How do I get started? You may submit an application by clicking here or by clicking "Apply Now!" located below. Make sure you designate if you are joining a TEAM and if so, which one. If you are not joining a specific TEAM, choose the regional “Bull Pen” TEAM (explained above) or if you would like to start a new TEAM. After you submit an application and pay the membership fee you will be contacted by the Regional Managing Director in your region to make sure that you are properly welcomed to our community and that you get set up properly on the TEAM you designated. If it is a new TEAM, the RMD will work with you to get it up and running properly.
